The 1st Post.

Welcome!!  This is my very 1st attempt at blogging unless one counts my numerous comments and posts on Facebook.  I want to share my thoughts and ideas on fresh sustainable food, tasty drinks, my travels (especially throughout Oregon), my photography and random thought I find fascinating.

 I have always been an Oregonian, I was just born in a different part of the county.  Born in Chicago, Illinois, my philosophy on living has always been more toward the left and green.  There are a lot of things I miss about Chicago, however I can't imagine living anywhere other then the Pacific Northwest.
